Monday Morning Inspiration- Funky Town

Typically I am jonesing hardcore for my Starbucks coffee on Monday mornings, still feeling the lingering effects of staying up too late watching Parks & Recreation re-runs.  But this Monday I have an uncharacteristic spring in my step.  Why, you ask?  Because I am jetsetting to NYC this Friday!  I am so excited to gather fashion and design inspiration from the city that never sleeps.  Now I know there are many of you out there who are much more familiar with the Big Apple than I am.  If that's you, please please leave your favorite shopping, eating, and touring destinations.  Although I have been to NYC a handfull of times, I have never lived there or stayed long enough to discover favorite local hotspots.  Here are my usual shopping meccas:

And, of course, H&M.  Houston has pretty much every store except H&M.  What's up with that?!
