Happy Monday, lovelies! Today for my Monday morning inspiration I wanted to share with you one of my favorite interior decor looks- a console table with a bench or a few benches underneath.
I love how benches or stools add such balance by filling in the "white space" underneath a console. Opting for a bold pattern or fabric can liven up a standard black, brown or white console and give a space a little personality.
Having small benches underneath a table or console can also add functionality. If you need extra seating when friends are over, simply pull out these benches and wa-la! 2 instant extra seats. How fun are these snakeskin benches?

I loved this look so much I did it in my first-floor entryway. My friend, Alexis, gave me the initial inspiration. What do you think?

I am very excited to tell you my mom and I gave the X benches pictured here a makeover. We painted, refinished, and recovered the seats with this ikat fabric. I'm a sucker for ikat prints. I promise to post a tutorial soon. I really love the finished product!
How was your weekend? What's keeping you inspired this week?
I love all of these images, but I think my favorite is your entryway! It looks fabulous and I can't wait to see your tutorial. xoxo

Benches and consoles have to be one of my favourite vignettes in a home. I have a little console which I popped a stool under and it is so much prettier than the console alone. Love your entry too!
