The Perfect Summer Dress

Today I am blogging over at The Girls of Lincoln Park about my idea of a perfect summer dress.  This post is perfect for today- because I am currently getting ready to go a close friend's wedding this evening.  Can you guess what I'm wearing? I live in short sundresses from mid March to about mid October.  That sounds crazy, right?  Living nearly in Mexico (I reside in Houston) the weather is almost always sunny, hot, and humid!  It's hard to stay fashionable in the heat, but this season I am determined to use my new passion for color to brighten up my everyday wear.

For balmy summer nights when you are going out for drinks with friends or to a special event, accessorize a colorful dress with a classic handbag and strappy statement heels. 

I also adore patterned sundresses. The more intricate the pattern, the less accessories you need! I love the messy side braid paired with this floral mini. So feminine and sweet!
