I am always attracted to bedrooms with bold wall colors. But I'm not so sure I'm brave enough to do it myself. I tend to like my bedroom to feel like a spa or a retreat.
I'm curious to know.... is your bedroom a bold wall color or wallpaper pattern? Would you be brave enough to paint it a strong hue?
Each of these bedrooms is so beautiful! I especially like the deep pinky red and the first bright blue!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you that I love it, but I tend to keep walls neutral!

We went with a bold green, which is a great shade, for our master. And, every day I wish it was neutral :)
ReplyDeleteYes love it...would probably be to nervous to try it but would love it.
ReplyDeleteive done it!! i painted our master room bright blue...im happy to say it's now a nice grey. the grey is a little easier to mix and match accent pieces. xoxo jillian:: enter a $50 etsy gift card giveaway on cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteI think I'd be bold enough- lately I'm loving the bright, bold hues. I'm about to paint my bedroom a minty/seafoam color though hehe :) Not exactly "bold", but color nonetheless!
ReplyDeleteBold is fun! I love that kelly green. Mine are Chocolate Souffle by Raulph Lauren and it's definitely the bold room in our home.
ReplyDeleteI love the look in other people's homes but it is so not me!! I am a neutral/light color girl all the way
ReplyDeleteI always love it when I see it, but I totally play it safe with wall color in our bedroom. When we first moved into our current house the bedroom walls were a b.r.i.g.h.t yellow. I seriously hated waking up to it in the morning. I think it has scared me away from color in our bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely do it! Looks so nice.
ReplyDeleteThis really is a tricky one! I'm like you, *TOTALLY* drawn to the bold color statements, but in real life? I want to freakin' relax in that room! I think I'll probably just stick to pops of color in the accessories (c:
ReplyDeletethese bedroom colors are seriously making me giddy with excitement :)
ReplyDeletesince i live in a dorm now, no fun statements for me on my walls. but in the future, i would love nothing more than to be a little expressive with some bold designs! thanks for all of the beautiful inspiration!

I think these bedroom bold moves are exciting but....on the real life tip, I do want my bedroom to feel like a relaxing sanctuary. May be too much stimulation when I get up in the middle of the night...?
ReplyDeleteI love colour but always fear that if I was to go too bold with a strong colour on a wall I'd get sick of it easily. I like to keep the base neutral and add colour in the accents. But who knows, maybe one day I'll be brave enough :)

I love the turquoise walls! I don't think I would put a bright color in my bedroom but definitely in the rest of my home

I had an eggplant color in my MBR for 10 years which was cozy and fabulous. I now have all neutrals and spa-like, but I can tell you I will tire of that before 10 years is up! It's only paint I always say!

not me, personally!!! But I've used it a lot in client's rooms and they always are happy with the end result! Depends on your personality!
ReplyDeleteso fun! if i did - i think i'd go with a dark color, like a plum or burgundy. does that count??
ReplyDeleteWe have the same wall and headboard color on the second photo. :)

ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea to check out different types of pillows in person. It doesn’t matter what the description is online if you don’t know what a memory foam pillows feels like, you might not like it if you buy it. You can end up buying maternity pillow 2016 online, but it’s best to test that stuff out in person first.
