I love browsing through my recent pins to get inspired. Often, I've unconsciously been pinning a similar look, fabric, or design without realizing it. Having pinterest is such a convenience. Gone are the days when I would save pictures to my desktop, create collages with them in Microsoft Word, and then print them and put them in inspiration binders. How time consuming, right?! Thank goodness for progress. Looking through my pins, I've noticed I've been pinning lots of bright colorful couches in suede fabrics.
Typically such a big piece is kept neutral so that it can be transitional over the years. But I like the boldness of a bright color. It makes such a statement.
What have your pins been saying to you lately?
These are all so gorgeous! I dream of owning a blue velvet sofa one day!

ReplyDeleteA lot of those look like velvet to me, and I am a *complete* velvet whore, ha ha. ;) I'm a big fan of the texture of suede, too, though. Loving the rich colors in the couches you've found! I keep seeing this picture of a green velvet Chesterfield sofa around, too - yum!

The purple couch with the cowhide ottoman is dope! My pins have been saying---summer, summer, summer! Lots of swimming pools, cocktail recipes and vacation/leisure scenes.
ReplyDeleteThis post made me so happy! I have a green suede couch I've been hiding in an unused room ( looks like picture #2, color of the last pic) my husband has been begging me to bring it out bc it's so comfy- now I can get some ideas of how to jazz it up without feeling outdated ! thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI find that I often subconsciously pin various things within a certain color palette within a sitting! Oh, lordy!!! I am in LOVE {insert heart palpitations here} with those citron pillows on that teal couch!!! And that last image is just so gorgeous...picturing myself living there...yep! perfect :) XO Brynn
ReplyDeleteI love the vibrancy.
ReplyDeleteThough it has nothing to do with suede, I must also add that the painting in the fifth picture is quite lovely. I can't seem to find that page in Lonny where the artist would be mentioned.
