I love perfume. I think the ladies see me coming through the beauty department of Neiman Marcus and know I'm an easy target. I always love to try out a new scent!

I like to keep my perfumes close by in my bathroom so I remember to spritz myself before heading out the door. Currently I have mine displayed on a tray. The unique bottles and colors of the perfume add a pretty touch to my typically messy bathroom countertop.

My absolute favorite perfume is Thierry Mugler's "Angel". This perfume has a very unexpected, almost spicy scent, and without fail every time I wear it a stranger or friend compliments the smell. Here are my other favorites and a pretty tray that would make a lovely perfume holder...
1. Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy/2. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue/3. Thierry Mugler Angel/4. Tocca Cleopatra/5. Prada Candy /Tray
And here's a snapshot of my current perfume tray:
The quote on the tray says "I wake up expecting things" by Fleur Cowles. I just love that! Perfect for an early morning pick-me-up. :)
Do you have a favorite perfume? Do you have a favorite way to store your perfumes? Do tell!
Gorgeous photos! I love Viva la Juicy...I wear it al the time! I usually just store my perfumes in a basket, but I really love the tray idea! I might be purchasing one to transfer my perfumes to soon. Thanks for sharing! :)

Love your own perfume bar Sam! I wish I were not so scent-sensitive and could change up my daily perfume. I've had to work hard to find a couple that work for me- Michael Kors "Fig", Issay Miyake, Miss Marissa- and I display them in my wardrobe right next to my jewelry.
ReplyDeleteI love these trays with perfumes! Such a great way to decorate a vanity.

love the inspiration! Someday I hope to have a huge vanity (maybe in an enormous walk-in closet?!) where I can display all my jewelry, perfumes, etc :)

Love this post! I currently have mine on a vintage gold tray but have been on the hunt for something new!
ReplyDeleteI must check out your perfume picks!
Pretty! I don't really have a favorite right now, I'm in a perfume rut!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of displaying perfume on a tray! My all time favorite is Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. I always try new perfumes but end up coming back to Light Blue!
ReplyDeleteOk this has really inspired me to re-do my perfumes! My mom just gave me the Valentino perfume today and it MUST be added to the display!! Fab post friend!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI looove looking at all the different ways people organize & display their perfumes! I only own one at a time because I get hooked on a scent and don't change for years!! Right now I'm wearing Victor Rolf's Flowerbomb. It's my favorite! Anyway, I think people come up with some really neat stuff as far as displaying their wonderful scents :)
ReplyDeletewhere is that awesome tray from?! love your blog.

I love a pretty looking...and pretty smelling...vignette! I have that snakeskin tray although I haven't, as of yet, used it for my perfume. Currently they're on a mirrored tray, but I'm thinking of switching it up to a vintage silver tray I have. It's nice to switch things up every so often!

ReplyDeleteevery boudoir must have one! yours is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have been wearing Chloe everyday lately!
ReplyDeleteLove the cake plate idea...actually, love that whole image!
Thank you for including my little tray amongst these beautiful examples! xoxo
I love displaying my perfumes in the bathroom on a tray, got my eyes on a Tilly Maison, treating myself when I get back home ;)
ReplyDeleteI got a few perfumes but my favorite is Chloe, the perfect scent!
This may be inspiration for me to keep my bathroom counter pretty as well. Such a great idea. And as for those pesky department store perfume ladies, they sure do keep us smelling good. Even if walking by them gives me a slight headache.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm behind on my blog reading, but just had to comment 'cause Angel is my favorite as well. I love the scent. It reminds me of a man's cologne and I adore the smell of (most) men's cologne.
ReplyDeleteThat looks almost identical to my perfume collection!! :) I also recently added Dolce & Gabanna The One, and of course Flowerbomb! : )
