Mary McDonald Monday + Blog Botox

Today we're starting Monday off in a bold and beautiful way!  You may know Mary McDonald from Million Dollar Decorators on Bravo, or for her ravishing and bold interiors that have captured design enthusiasts worldwide. Los Angeles-based designer Mary McDonald is one of today’s most sought after designers and is consistently ranked one of House Beautiful's  “Top 100 Designers”.  Her rooms always pack a punch and combine glamour and elegance with a modern flair.  Here are a few of my favorite rooms Mary has designed:

What I love about McDonald's interiors is that there is always an unexpected element.  In the closet space above, it's the chevron wallpaper.  In the dining room below, it's the patterned wood floors.  These details truly elevate Mary into a class of her own.

I often look to McDonald's bold, fearless rooms as a source of inspiration, as my instincts usually want to play it safe.
