This year, I vowed to get a little out of my comfort zone when it comes to my wardrobe. Admittedly, I am not much of a bold dresser. I like to stick to neutral colors in shapes that work well on my body. One color that I have been admiring lately (but have yet to add to my closet) is mint. It's been a popular hue this spring and summer, along with an array of soft pastels. Here are a few outfits I love that incorporate mint:
I'd love to add any of these great mint items to my closet...
1.Sleeveless Crochet Collar Top/2.Mint Burnout Scarf/3.Mint Skater Dress/4.Mint Co-ord Boucle Skirt/5. Leather Scallop Cross-Body Bag/6.Floral Jacquard Loafers/7. Kendra Scott Carmella Earrings
Have you guys heard of Charm & Chain? It's my absolute favorite online jewelry source, and also where you can get these Kendra Scott earrings. They sell jewelry from various designers at all price points. Those Anthropologie loafers are so fun, too! I really need to invest in a few of these mint pieces. Do you have a mint obsession, too?
I just got into mint this summer, and I love it! I have an anthropologie tank that I wear with everything and it really makes my summer glow, glow!

ReplyDeleteI loveeee the mint scallop bag. I used it for a Fridays Fancies and have been dreaming of it since! Great choices!

Mmmmm .... mint. I can appreciate mint, but it's not a color that is flattering to me personally, so I think that's why I've been slow to hop aboard the mint bandwagon!! But I do love some great pastels ... particularly lavender! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to leave such kind comments!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is gorgeous! Love!
ReplyDeleteI am just like you said, I usually only wear neutrals. Thanks to your blog however, I have been adding colors. I recently bought 2 mint tops. So out of my element, but i did. I also bought some kelly green. Never would have done it had it not been for reading your blog - seriously!
ReplyDeleteso flattering, Jessica! Glad you are trying to add a little color to your wardrobe. I am too!

I'm not big on pastels (pink isn't a pastel, it's my neutral), but I love mint!

Could not agree more. I'm trying to branch out too and I'm smitten w mint! Never heard of the jewelry site but I must check it out!
ReplyDeletei've been loving mint too.. especially that first dress!! love your blog btw.. it's adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour mint, but not so much since I've been seeing it all over the place. While I love that there are now more mint items available for purchase, I'm also slightly crushed that it's no longer original to wear it. Sigh, I guess that happens with fashion... I adore your picks especially that mini skirt.

I'm usually very bold but not so much up on the latest trends. Loving this!
ReplyDeleteI second that! Should I send you pics of me sporting myrna gear ??? :)
ReplyDeletelove the mint! those maxi skirts are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMint is the color best suited for summer. It can provide an airy and refreshing look. I liked the mint colored skirt in the second picture. It would look good on slim people like me. I liked all the mint collections you have displayed. The top, skirt, dress all have a charm on its own. However, my favorite would be the mint bag. I liked the way the scallops are done in the bag. Is it a leather one? If it is leather it’s a unique piece as leather bags normally comes with plain edges without scallops. The shoes reminds me of a wall paper I spotted in one of the blog.
