Lately I've been very drawn to rooms with rustic elements in them. From wood floors, to wrought iron, to sisal rugs... I just love the natural feel! However, I wouldn't be staying true to my aesthetic if I didn't add in a little feminine glamour. The perfect mix- rustic elegance! Here are a few rooms I love that incorporate this vibe...
I love the delicate feel of this bedroom designed by Meredith Heron. (A favorite designer of mine!) The intricate gold mirror and chandelier add such glamour!
Placing braches around your headboard?! Talk about a natural statement!
What design aesthetic have you been craving?

ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous. Image five is by far my favorite. This design style is right up my alley ... Maybe that's why I have a clothing rack in my room I made with wooden skids and piping!

ReplyDeleteAhhhh, those branches...what whimsey...I love it !!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised how much I loved Estée Stabley's project in Lonny! It's not really my usual style but something about the delicate textures mixed with clean neutrals got me going! Esp. The kids rooms which I've been meaning to post!
ReplyDeleteWow, such gorgeous inspiration! I too, have been drawing a lot of inspiration from the rustic/eclectic stylings :) It's simply fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI also love the revamped blog design! Maybe its been awhile since I've been around but it looks absolutely flawless!

I'm mostly really drawn to super minimalist interiors with aged architectural detailing...timber ceiling beams, rustic barn yard doors, and just a splash of aged decor to keep everything flowing...you've illustrated the look perfectly...That dining room shot's got everything and more...including a hi-contrast crystal chandy! A bit of bling to break up the rustic...perfecto!
ReplyDeleteWould love to get your thoughts on my most recent hotel renovation when you get a chance! Hope to see you soon!

ReplyDeleteI'm with you-- I appreciate a hint of rustic! Not TOO much ha, but just enough to make a space feel lived in.
ReplyDeletegorgeous rooms! I want to move in xx
ReplyDeleteEven though the rustic look is worn and used, I like the warm and nostalgic feeling it evokes. It's definitely an interior style that I would like to incorporate into my future home!
