This Friday, Sam and I (If you are new to my blog, yes- my boyfriend and I have the same name) are heading to Miami for a mini vacation to celebrate a year together. I know, I know, it's not that much of a feat. Most of you have been with your spouse/boyfriend for 10 times that long... so please don't roll your eyes at me! :) Honestly, it's crazy to think it's been a year already. We've been having a great time getting to know each other over the last 12 months and we thought it would be fun to take time out and celebrate. The hotel we are staying at is known for it's boutique spa and relaxing vibe. I am looking forward to morning yoga classes, reading by the pool, and spending quality time with my guy. Here's what's on my packing list...

Fabulous! A year is no small feat, congrats! Miami is amazing this time of year... I actually met my husband there, boarding a cruise ship. Visit South Beach if you weren't already planning on it. The beach and architecture are perfect, and there are tons of amazing Cuban eateries. Just don't eat on Ocean Ave. and you'll be golden. Bon voyage!

ReplyDeleteI've never been to Miami but that swimsuit seems perfect for it! I'm obsessed with the shorts you picked out and really want to read that Lauren Conrad book! Just add some sunscreen to this list and maybe a fun hat and you are good to go. Happy Anniversary and have so much fun!!!!!

ReplyDeleteAwww! so sweet! And don't let anyone tell you that a year isn't a feat! I strongly believe that the first year is one of the hardest because you don't really know each other yet and so there is a lot of discovering pet peeves etc from accidentally ticking them off (c; Have a blast!!!

ReplyDeleteSounds like so much fun (especially the yoga). I've never done exercise on my vacations usually but it sounds like something relaxing to try...especially yoga or pilates! And great swimsuit....I love the fringe!
