Although I have been living in the townhouse I am in now for over a year, I am embarrassed to say it has been a process to get it in order. This weekend I finally cleaned up the kitchen and got things in order to take a few pictures to share with you.
Although I LOVE the marble and backsplash tile, I can't take any credit for choosing it- it was already built when I moved in! The sisal runner is from Restoration Hardware.
I love these freestanding shelves. They have built in lights that are perfect for showing off family photos, books, and other tchotchkes. I actually found them at a garage sale or sorts- the builders in our neighborhood sold lots of items used to stage their homes, so I got to take them home for next to nothing. The table and chairs have an antiqued lacquer finish and are from High Fashion Home, although I don't see the white option available any more. The bar stools are from Ballard Designs, and the rug was found at an antique store. All the walls are very beige, which I would love to change up, but since I'm renting I can't do that~ and I will likely only be here for a few more years. I hope you like it! I am pretty proud of it, although it took me a while to get it set up. :)
Happy Monday!

AH your home is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteStunning, Sam! Love your bar stools & dining room set!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! If I had to do mine all over again, I'd go with a lighter color pallet like yours. The honed granite and dark cabinets in my kitchen show everything. Everything! It's not conducive to a family lifestyle. A very lived-in family lifestyle. :)
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHH!!!! SO GORGEOUS!! You really have a talent here. Where are those silver shelves in the dining room from??? The kitchen is seriously perfection. I would even take up cooking if I had that kitchen ;) xo
