A recent trip to Anthropologie turned in to a bathroom zhushing session. Although the changes made a big impact, they were very simple and easy, so I thought I'd share them with you!
The first thing I did was place a few Design Darling mini boxwoods by my sink. I felt like my bathroom was feeling a little bland and needed a little life. What better way to do that then with a potted plant? Boxwoods are perfect indoor plants because they require little to no maintenance (no sunlight needed, spritz with water about once a month). Fake plants don't count!
The embroidered towel is from Anthro. The pattern is beautiful, and to me it's almost a piece of decorative art! Don't worry, that doesn't stop me from wiping my hands on it. :) I am a big proponent of pretty linens. The blue and silver towels hanging by my tub are new. When I spotted them I was in love. They work well with the decorative sun mirrors I purchased from One Kings Lane.
I spent a lot of nights soaking in the tub with a magazine and glass of wine, so I found a cute wooden basket to store my magazines in:
Pretty soaps and more hand towels around the tub:
As most of you know, I don't believe in keeping products (or really anything) you don't use or need. I keep only my "must have" products in my drawer. To make the storage pretty, I took a hot pink perfume box and turned it in to a basket:
To keep the drawers clean, I lined all of them with a pretty grasscloth paper:
I also added a few framed photos, decorative soaps, and a favorite candle to my bathroom counters.
Now I love walking in to my bathroom! It's crazy how a few small changes can warm up a space. What do you think? Do you have any additional tips?
I hope you are having a good week so far!
