Bathroom Updates

Thank you to all the well wishes last week while I was completing finals.  As of this past Saturday at 12 pm, I have another 15 interior design hours under my belt!  It feels good to be done and to have a little 3 week break for the holidays.  With a break comes the time to refocus on a few residential interior projects.  First off, my parent's new home is coming along nicely!  We are about to start pulling together the paint color palette.  For the master bathroom, we WERE going to wallpaper the walls in Anya Larkin's Shagreen:

But after changing course and deciding to go with mirrored cabinetry and princess white quartzite countertops...

And a large freestanding silver tub...

I felt using the pearl Anya Larkin paper would be too much white.  Combining white countertops with white cabinetry and white tile, the room will need some contrast.
I am thinking of going with a cool neutral paint color for the walls.  Right now I love Farrow and Ball's Down Pipe:

We are also needing to select sconces to line the vanities.  I love Circa's Large Ring Wall Sconce:

And the more simple Dean Single-Arm Sconce:

What do you think of my current choices?  Do you like the Farrow & Ball paint color, or would you choose something different?  I'd love your input!

  10. gorgeous tub and I love the shagreen paper too! FB paint is great, super saturated color but I find the paint chips looks completely different than the actual paint so use lots of samples!

  17. Since you asked, without knowing if you have a lot of windows in this room, the paint color looks DARK for a bath... and what it might do to trying to put on make up etc. The sconces have cloth or paper shades??? does not seem practical for a room with enclosed water use - humidity. The pieces themselves are are all pretty so I know you will come up with something that works in a bath and not too over the top. Too, the floor is a big part of a small room and you have not decided on that.
