Hi Peak of Très Chic readers, it's Lindsay from The Pursuit of Style and I'm thrilled to be stepping in while Sam gets ready to walk her stylish self down the aisle! Sam asked that I share some interior inspiration with you, so I've pulled out an old favorite. This Parisian apartment owned by Marco Scarani and Jamie Creel was featured in the December 2008 issue of Elle Decor but I still find myself revisiting it for inspiration today.
Mid-century chrome lamps mix with Louis XVI furniture and antique convex mirrors in the master bedroom.
A gallery wall of plant specimens hung in a grid makes a striking backdrop for a backgammon table.
The dining room features a show stopping coral chandelier off-set even more dramatically against gorgeous hydrangea hued walls--my favorite room in the house!
I'm a sucker for a good stripe (check out my entryway!) and this bathroom with its copper tub went straight into the inspiration files. I hope you enjoyed our virtual visit to Paris, I know it's re-inspired me! A big thanks to Sam for having me, and best wishes for a wonderful wedding day.
I am majorly swooning over that tub. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat dining room is incredible. I'd love to sit in there and eat lots of delicious French food. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove, love love those striped walls!
