Needing, Wanting, Loving: Decorative Screens

Happy Monday!  How are we doing?  I am happy to be back after a week hiatus while I finished up some of my finals.  This week, I'll be finishing up the other half of them, and then I'll have 3 weeks of summer bliss!  Of course I'll still be working on design projects, but a little break from school will be nice. :)  Today I wanted to share my latest decorative obsession- hinged screens!  Whether used solely for aesthetic beauty or as a makeshift wall/divider in a small space, screens are the perfect example of function meets beauty:

There are so many gorgeous screen options! From gilded wood to antique mirror to upholstered, here are a few of my faves...

Top Row: Arteriors Annabelle Screen $3,600/MGBW Adam Black Nailhead Screen $2,500/Arteriors Gilded Wood  Greek Key Screen $1,584

Middle Row: MGBW Pink Ikat Upholstered Screen $2,000/John Salibello Mirrored Screen with Stainless Steel Surround $Price On Request/Bernhardt Dynasty Screen in Ivory Lacquer $,1565/

Bottom Row: World Market Upholstered Hara Screen $199Bespoke Global Seamus Fairtlough $16,400/ Folding Screen with Silver-Leaf Background $1,900/

That World Market screen is a steal at only $199, and no less chic than the other options!

Jenny at Little Green Notebook put together a DIY tutorial for how to make a folding screen for only $15!
