Needing, Wanting, Loving: A Touch of Ikat

Although ikat prints have been a popular motif for quite some time in interiors, I never thought I would see the day when they would emerge in fashion.  However, I spotted a girl sporting these Paige denim ikat jeans this weekend, and I fell in love. 

Like most things, ikat has to be done the right way, which to me means in a more contemporary, fresh way.  Pretty much all my favorite ikat fabrics are by Quadrille:
