It's Friday again, although it'd probably be better if we could just fast-forward to Wednesday! Everyone (including me) has the election scaries and I'm just tired of dwelling on it. Let's get the voting done and get on with our lives! All this election gloom and doom is really getting to me. I need to watch an episode of Oprah's "Super Soul Sunday" or down a martini, or probably both. I wanted to focus on the positive for this post and link to uplifting, beautiful stories (and items, of course). Read on for Friday's links...
A few links to peruse over the weekend...
-I loved viewing Emmy Rossum's renovated Manhattan apartment. The bath and closet (shown above) were my favorite images. Emmy worked with designer Antonino Buzzetta who helped transform her prewar pied-a-tierre in to a glamorous haven for the young actress. I specifically love the calacatta marble in the bath and that the vanity base sits flush with the thick marble slab/sink. The floor and wall tiles are by Ann Sacks (one of my faves for all things stone and tile)! - Elle Décor

-Paloma featured Tori Mellott, senior design editor of Traditional Home, in her most recent Style Files. Tori worked at domino magazine in the height of it's success, and 2 of her adorable NYC apartments were featured in the magazine. I loved reading about her inspiration and life. - La Dolce Vita
