I'm so happy this weekend is Memorial Day. I'm headed to see my best friend Grace in Houston this Friday, and I can't wait to hit up all of my favorite H-town spots (Lupe Tortilla... Kuhl-Linscomb... Tiny Boxwoods... Anvil... The Menil). It'll be nice to get out of town for a bit and go back to a place I used to call home. I'm sorry my blog posting has been so sporadic these days. I keep wondering if my days of blogging are coming to a close. The inspiration is all still there, the desire to share is still on the surface... but for some reason it's become increasingly hard for me to formulate a thought-provoking blog post. So, at least for now, I can't promise any sort of structure in my posting schedule- or even any structure in my posts themselves- but I do still plan to be in touch here and there as the mood strikes me.
